In the position of Principal Staff Scientist at Motorola’s Six Sigma Research Institute, SigmaPro’s founder, Douglas Mader, helped develop and deliver the very first DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) Black Belt and Master Black Belt training in 1991. Also at SSRI, Mader was certified as the very first Motorola Master Black Belt. As a lead consultant for the Six Sigma Academy and the American Society for Quality, Mader was responsible for several major Six Sigma deployments. Mader also deployed Lean Six Sigma and/or DFSS at Seagate as a Corporate Director of DFSS, at the Six Sigma Academy as Vice President of DFSS, at Hewlett Packard as corporate quality program manager, and at multiple international clients of SigmaPro. This wealth of experience in Lean Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma forms the foundation of SigmaPro’s consulting and training services.

SigmaPro’s instructional and consulting team is comprised of highly competent Master Black Belts that have diverse backgrounds and significant experience in the delivery of enterprise-wide improvement initiatives. SigmaPro Master Black Belts have an average of 23 years of experience and all have successfully deployed Lean Six Sigma, Six Sigma (DMAIC) and/or Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) for multinational corporations. In addition to consulting and training, several members of the SigmaPro team have also held senior management positions and were directly responsible for Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma and/or Design for Six Sigma deployments. All SigmaPro Master Black Belts have attended and completed SigmaPro’s rigorous Master Black Belt certification course, and they have been personally selected and screened by Dr. Mader. All SigmaPro employees and consultants are expected to abide by the SigmaPro mission statement and core values.
